The total cost of these project was £155,405 with the EASST funding making up 31% meaning that for every £ provided £2 was add to the donation.

Junior Pathway
The EASST funding has enabled us to develop the county wide Eagles Nest Concept, these start with early development programmes at 8 – 10-year olds, Over the course of the year we run 20 session with 24 Children taking part at each session.  This has enabled us to see a broader range of players and to also engaged with parents and the players around the Essex Way at an early more informal setting. The pinicle of the programme is linked into the clubs with the 2-night Mini Matchplay festival with 40 clubs bringing 8 children to play fun small sided games under the lights at Chelmsford.
The Support of EASST has also enabled us to support 2 Junior Pathway Coordinators to focus on the development of players up to 13 this has helped us to broaden the opportunities by now having squads of around 30 Children who are then split into two regional groups.
Alongside this programme and helping the development or players into the County programme the funding helps us to support the 5 regional around in running Under 11 and under 13 regional sides as well as a 2 day festival at Billericay for Under 15 players where we play a day of T20 and one day of 50 over Cricket for the top 50 players outside of County Team which has already seen 8 players come back into the county set up.
